About Dutch Touch Creations

The origin of Dutch Touch Creations dates back to early 2000. The Company was founded by Gerardus Gooren and his son Andre Gooren. Gerardus an accomplished craftsman, was inspired to create his first belt display after noticing that his children's old martial arts belts, which they had worked so very hard to earn, had found themselves not stored in a dignified manner, but rather tossed in the bottom of a drawer. There were many similar products available in martial arts catalogues, but the vast majority of these belt displays were generic, mass-produced, and poorly-crafted. More importantly the displays lacked the most important and fundamental element of any product: originality. This meant that the creation of a new, hand-crafted display proved to be the best and most fitting solution.

Countless hours were spent on research and design and subsequent creation of the first Dutch Touch Creations belt display. All possible needs were taken into consideration in the creation of the prototype. Finally, the first Dutch Touch Creations Belt Display was complete. The face of the display featured a four-inch by five-inch acrylic frame to display a favorite martial arts memory (a feature not offered by any competitor), and a Mylar martial arts decal. Hanging from the display were ten Belt Slats on which one would be able to display his or her belts. A modified version of this first display is still available as the Standard Style Belt Display.

After receiving countless favorable praises and reviews from martial arts instructors and martial artists alike, Gerardus decided to market his displays to a mass audience. In late 2000 Dutch Touch Creations Belt Displays were introduced to the public through the "Ebay " sales platform and later through their own " dutchtouchcreations.com" website. In 2010 the "Amazon.com" platform was added as a sales forum as well with immediate and great success.

To date Dutch Touch creations boasts a 4.9 STAR rating and 99.9 positive feedback, an extremely difficult fete to accomplish and maintain.

After 20 Years in business Dutch Touch Creations has continued to develop new and exciting products to add to our ever-expanding product line, but even with unprecedented growth one thing remains the same: our undying commitment to quality and originality. Despite high demand, each belt display is still hand-crafted by Gerardus in his workshop in Northern Idaho where he continues to apply Old World techniques to new, innovative and exciting products to create Martial Arts Belt Displays With A Kick!
